If you are ever in Abu Dhabi and want to eat real Arabic food in a real traditional Arabic setting, then you HAVE to go to Saudi Kichen (ÇáãØÈÎ ÇáÓÚæÏí) It is located on Defense Street (ÔÇÑÚ ÇáÏÝÇÚ) in the same building as Gava Hotel, which is opposite of Dar Al Shifa Hospital. They have traditional seatings (you sit on the ground on a carpeted floor and there are arm-rests, similar to a majlis inside a tent). It has an extremely relaxed setting and serve many traditional dishes from the region (such as Yemen & Saudi Arabia). You always have the choice to choose chicken, beef or camel meat on all dishes. They also serve fish dishes. Some of the well-known traditional dishes: - Mandi
- Madfoon
- Mathlootha
- Bukhaari
All these dishes have rice cooked with different spices and styles, with the choice of meat cooked in a similar fashion too. There are no wrong options because everything is astoundingly delcious
